Hey Y'all! I'm glad to finally bring you our 13th staff interview. Enjoy them while they last because we only have a few left. So let's make them great! How many of you are ready for Teleport's interview? I know I am, so here we go.


If you could be in any video game, which would you pick and why?
Ooh this is a tough one.. I'd probably have to say Folklore or Kingdom Hearts.

If you could be any famous person for a day, who would you be and why?
I don't think I'd like to be anyone who is famous.. But I sure would like to be myself if I were famous!

What game are you best at online wise LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2 or Tom Clancy's Endwar?
Definitely Little Big Planet.. But I'm not too bad at Resistance!

If you can Teleport to anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Probably Japan.. Or maybe Spain since I have friends there.. Or to visit my friends in the Chec Republic..

If you could ask anyone alive or dead, anything, what would it be and why?
Hmm another tough one.. I'd probably visit Ghandi to get some insights on life.

If you can go back in time, which time period would you visit?
Hmm.. If I HAD to go back in time I would pick the beginning of time! I think it would be an interesting thing to watch

I would however prefer to see the future!

Which do you prefer: Delorean, Time Machine or Phone Booth?
Hmm.. I think a Phone Booth would be the most adventurous.

What is your favorite memory from VMK?
Definitely the closing parties and making my rooms! I miss VMK so much!

Uhm.. I don't really know much about the Harajuku Lovers.. I love Harajuku, though!


What's your choice of breakfast item? Or say... What do you eat for breakfast?
Well usually I don't have time to eat breakfast.. But my favorite is probably pancakes!

If you were invited to Legoland... They have this contest where they'll give you a million Legos and six hours to complete your project... What would you do? What would you design/think up?
Hmm.. I'd probably make a sculpture of a person, but that would be nearly impossible in six hours.. I'd love to give it a shot, though.

How many apps do you currently have on your iTouch?
57 excluding the ones that came with the iTouch.. O_o

If you can have ANY RARE item in any Virtual World, what would it be and why?
Probably the New Miko from Xivio.

Who and/or WHAT is DOMO?
"Domo (Dōmo-kun) is the mascot of Japan's NHK television station, appearing in several 30 second stop-motion sketches shown as station identification during shows."
Domo, the main character, is described as "a strange creature that hatched from an egg." Domo's favorite food is Japanese-style meat and potato stew, and he has a strong dislike for apples, due to an unexplained mystery in his DNA. Domo can only communicate via producing a low-pitched noise which sounds somewhat like his own name, but other characters appear to understand him. Domo also likes music, particularly Guitar Wolf and MAX, two real-life bands.

He was also a mascot for Target's Halloween sales.

Ah. So that's the little creature on my box of candy from Target. He sure is cute. Haha thanks for the information, Teleport, you learn something new everyday. I hope you all enjoyed Teleport's interview. Stay tuned for more updates later this week

Heya Everyone! Adaie here updating you on an awesome new postcard function that is now up and running in our very one VMKaddict Shop!
Our lovely staff members have been working on creating some virtual postcards that you can send to other members here on Addict. Each postcard will cost 200 board points and when animated postcards are added they will be sold for 250 board points. This new function is really easy to use, but let me break it down for you all.

Buying a Postcard:
First go to the VMKaddict Shop by clicking on "Shop" on the menu bar above. Or click here. Then select the Postcards section of the shop. Scroll on down and pick the one you would like to buy. (Clicking the Buy With: On hand will get you 1 postcard, or you can mass buy the postcards in pairs of 2's or 4's.)

Sending/Using a Postcard:
Once you have bought a postcard click on Inventory under the Personal Links section in the shop menu. Find the postcard you want to send and click on Use Item. You should then get a page asking you to enter the username of the recipient and extra text. Whatever you type in the Extra text will be sent to the recipient along with the postcard in the same message.

Alright all you wonderful Addicts! We are now again starting up our Staff Member of the Week, with a little twist. I, Adaie, am now going to be your "host" to give Coaster a little break and some well deserved help. Everything will still run the same as before, I will repost the breakdown for everyone though.
Every week, one staff member will be chosen to answer questions that are submitted by you guys! It will be a great way for you to get to know your VMKaddict staff a little better. You can ask questions about anything related to the board, VMK, or something in real life (nothing personal such as name, address, etc.).

The Breakdown:
1. I will announce the staff member of the week.
2. You will PM me the questions (you can post them too, but I need one in a PM to keep it organized). There is a limit for now of two questions per member. This number may change next week based on the number of questions I get.
3. After the date that I announce, I will PM all the questions to that staff member and they will answer them.
4. You will then get an "interview" of that member with your fantastic host, Adaie!
