Full Version: How do you do your credit run?

Ok, so I had a moment of self-discovery today. I guess I am just a creature of habit. But I always, always do my credit run the same way.

First I visit Ned, then Blackheart, the Yeti, the Dragon, Esmeralda, the Music game, Gator Waiter and finally the three ghosts.

I have been doing this so long that I didn't even realize it!

Does everyone else have a pattern they follow to? Or am I the only one so stuck in my routine?

Chewy_BubbleGum
I Follow That Same Exact Pattern Except For The Three Ghost.
I Guess They Would Take A Bit Longer To Get, So I Just Get Them Quicker In Pirates.
Magic Willow
I usually go from right to left saving the music stuff for last and skippng the ghosts completely.
Gator Waiter, Esmerelda, Yeti, Dragon, Blackheart, Ned, play monorail song then do mix, play music room song then mix...done. Once in a while I will start with Ned working my pattern backwards but still saving the music rooms for last and still skipping the ghosts. Most days the 60 ghost credits is not worth all the walking and waiting, but I do it sometimes if I am waiting on something or really bored.

I do have a pattern that I follow. I don't remember it at the moment, I'll write it down next time I am on.

I used to skip the music mixes because I would disconnect after doing them. I also skip the ghosts sometimes if I don't have the time.

Oh, I'm so glad that everyone has a pattern! Now I am finding it very interesting that our patterns are different!

I too have been known to skip the ghosts - but only if one of my mansion buddies is up for a game when I get to that part of my pattern FrogFly.gif

I usually do:

Main Street Music
Monorail Music entering from the Espanlade
Gator Waiter
3 Ghosts
Esmerelda
Yeti
Dragon
Blackheart
Ned

Then, by the time I am done it is almost time for me to go play my music again.
FairieSprite
This is usually my pattern:

Esmeralda, Yeti, Dragon, Ned, Blackheart, Gator, play a song on Main Street, then mix a song. I always skip the ghosts, though, since they take too long (same thing with the Monorail Music Game). And I almost always start with Esmeralda since the Emporium is the room I usually go to first. minniemouse.gif

Can you get credits from Main Street music and Monorail music in the same hour?

It says you can't, I think the message says "come back hourly" but I think the timer is set to more like every half hour.
FairieSprite
Well I guess that's another reason why I don't bother with the Monorail Music Game (besides the fact that it takes too long on my computer). Plus it usually makes my computer crash if there's more than one person there, and unfortunately you can't choose which instance to go in like the one on Main Street.

Most of the time, I don't even do credit runs anymore. I think I got out of the habit when VMK was acting up on my computer and I haven't gotten back into the habit yet now that it's been fixed. However, when I do go on a credit run, I go the same way about 75% of the time and it's Yeti, Dragon, Ned, Blackheart, Esmeralda, Gator, and sometimes the ghosts (but rarely) and also a rare music mix game or two.
Geish
You can get credits from both music games every hour by playing a mix and once a day each for making a mix.

It's been my experience (back when I actually played the mix game regularly) that you can get credits every 15-20 minutes for playing a song and every hour or two for mixing one.

I'm sorry, I misread your question at first. Yes, the games are independent so you can do them in the same hour. However, you don't have to wait a full hour to go back and get your points again. I think the wait time is more like a half hour. Sorry for confusing everyone.

Monorail Music

So, jCatsby...you do the two music games back to back? I have always just left the monorail out because it is sort of a pain to get to, and the last time I tried it (a long long time ago) it didn't give me credits. I guess I'll have to investigate on my own!

Yes. Play a song at Main Street, then re-mix a song. Jump to Esplanade to get to the Monorail station, play a song, then re-mix a song.

Yoy can get 25 credits for playing a song at each music game every 15 minutes or so, and 25 credits for re-mixing a song at each music game every 1-2 hours.

You get a bonus of 250 credits (I think) for the 50th time you play the same sone at each music game, and (I think) 500 credits for the 100th play.

i never go in an order but i do get all the credits every time i go on

Mine credit run pattern is the same as Fairy's. I just have a habit of entering the Emporium when I log in. I guess it is beacuse all the new releases almost always are put in the specials there until recently pirate.gif

I remember when it would not give you credits for doing the monorail if you already did the music mix room or vice versa. I used to skip the monorail also for that very same reason. At some point it changed because I always do them back to back now with no problems. bear_thumb.gif

First, I start with Adventureland NPC's-->Fantasyland-->Main Street(including Music Game)-->Finally,New Orlean's Square.
But I also play pirates alot and that's basically how I get alot of credits.
~Princess<3
GoldenBear
I get my credits in alphabetical order starting with the name of the land and then by the name of the room within each land.

Adventureland
- Pirate Treehouse
- Shrunken Ned's Shop

Fantasyland
- Dungeon
- Matterhorn

Main Street
- Emporium
- Street Party Music Game

New Orleans Square
- Blue Bayou
- Haunted Mansion

Tomorrowland
- Tomorrowland Hub, Tomorrowland Monorail Station, Monorail

I sometimes skip the ghosts if they are taking too long. I get credits for both the Street Party Music Game and the Monorail within the time frame it takes to go throught the above pattern.
