Hey everyone!
With the news of VMK's long-awaited apocalypse (if that's what you want to call it), lots of us are going to find that we've got lots of extra time on our hands formerly spent on VMK. What do you plan on doing with that extra time? I want to hear!
Personally, I'm going to work more on my art. I'm hoping to become a concept designer at Walt Disney Imagineering one day, so it will take lots and lots of practice. With all the extra time, I'll be able to work harder on my drawings and stuff. I'll probably also end up working a lot harder on school (fun, I know

)
What are you guys planning on doing?

I'm planning on catching up on reading books. I used to read at least 5-7 books a month, but now I only read books i'm supposed to read and a book or two for the book reviews we have to do at school because i was just so busy. Also, it will give me a chance to work on my short film, my webshows, annd learning how to play songs on the guitar in that spare time.

I'm going to work more on school since it will be right around finals. Then of course I'll talk here, (hehe) and read. I'm also going to work on graphics.

Well, friends, those are some pretty good ideas.
I for one, am not quite ready to let go of this community. I'm really hoping that a few of you on here are going to move over to another game where we might be able to go forward. Since I haven't tried any of the other games (besides POTC) I don't even know if this is possible.
I do enjoy visiting with all of you and ending my day with friends. You have all been with me through some very, very difficult times and you have helped me though them.
Yes, I can read more

or even clean house, but the hour each day that I have devoted to all of you is just as important to me.
Any suggestions?

As long as VMKAddict is still up, I think I'll still come here at least to read up on whatever new stuff is going on with everyone.
The most similar game to VMK is probably Habbo Hotel, which was made by the same company that developed VMK. Anyone here play that?
The only MMO games I play are Guild Wars and very infrequently, Pirates of the Caribbean online, and very rarely, ToonTown. Anyone play Guild Wars here?

I'll probably continue to moderate here, no matter what, but I'll take more time as an administrator on another site. If I switch, it'll most likely be to Runescape.
If I don't stay online, I'll be writing and making myself a life. I think I've forgotten what it's like to take a picnic lunch down to the lake, so I'll probably start packing my friends and I some lunches and taking them there. I'll work harder on dancing too. I see opportunity in leaving VMK, but I'd still come back from time to time to say hello.

I'll probably be getting more sleep and unfortunately working more.
What I won't be doing is paying to play those other online Disney games. VMK is the only game I would pay to play. The Pirates/Fairies/Toontown fads won't last forever. They have managed to do away with the one game that was rooted in the tradition of the Disney parks without even aproaching its full potential.
