I'm trying to do nice things on VMK when I have the chance to get on VMK. I thought it would be a nice thing to do while counting down the days left on VMK.

Today I gave away three dream hats, two cowboy hats and one pair of cowboy pants.

Kanga that's awfully nice of you! I don't see a point in keeping more than one of anything anymore, so we might as well give our extras away to people who can't even get one of them!

Wow...this thread makes me sad. I won't even be in town on the last two days of VMK. It's so depressing! I'm going to bring my laptop with me, but who knows if I'll be able to log on. We'll all miss you dearly, VMK!

Today, I shall walk around find a very poor person and give them a cone hat! Yay! Teehee

Unfortunately my dear friends, we have all of today and all of tomorrow before our avatars disappear forever.

But don't worry, because the friendships don't expire.

I won't be on tomorrow at all. My cousins graduating and I want to be there. I m going to miss our last closing dance party.

Oh, well. I'll just love VMK while I can.

I'm really sorry to say that the day finally came. Today is the last day that you will be able to log into the kingdom and more importantly, it is our last closing.

I tried to log in this morning but it just makes me feel all empty inside. I can't seem to want to be there knowing its going to be gone tomorrow. I look at all the great items they have released since the announcement which I never bothered to build with knowing there was no real time to enjoy it and thinking what a great future we had with VMK. They obviously had some great themes planned with the awesome new Tiki stuff (love that Tiki music playing radio!!) and Carnival items.
Unfortunately all today has left me with is tears in my eyes and a hole in my heart.

I am taking this opportunity now and on here to say how much you all mean to me and how wonderful the past two years have been. I have enjoyed many crazy, silly and wild adventures with all of you and our wonderful little avatars. I plan of being there for the final close tonight but I don't fancy myself logging on all day and torturing myself. Life has to go on and it will for me just without any daily Disney magic in it. Oh well better for me and more money loss for them on whatever else they plan on "promoting" because I'm not buying it. I hope to see a similar VMK type game in our future and I will be there with bells on.

Maybe I'm just too mad to see things clearly and all of this ranting will bite me in the behind later but its just how I feel about losing all my friends and our Magic Kingdom on this sad and awful day. Hopefully all will be well for our final closing goodbyes this evening and it won't crash early because of the sheer volume of players I would expect tonight. In case my worst fear of that comes true Magic Willow will say her evening goodbye now just in case.

I'm gonna miss all of your avatars. And even though we'll still have each other on Addict, there won't be those sheer in the moment inside jokes I'm gonna miss those. I'm gonna miss everything, but I'm gonna make the best of it and try to be positive. I'm still extremely sad, but I have a feeling that all will be well.

Well, I think I may have signed onto VMK for the last time. I'm going to try my very hardest to be there for closing, but if I don't make it, at least I had the chance to be on for a little bit to say bye.

Wow - the lag is awful already - 4:15pm ET, 5/21/8 - I bet they have only the bare minimum servers still active, this could be tough later today - only about ~3500 users on now.

I was totally fine reading your post until I saw that. Now I've got tears streaking my face.

It's just a sad day. We'll pull through it.
